Linkener secured €7.5 million in a round led by Klima Energy Transition Fund, Alantra’s energy-transition vehicle. Existing shareholder GoHub Ventures remained involved. The Spanish energy-technology business develops an intelligent energy-management system using proprietary remote metering. Customers can monitor consumption, validate bills, assess supply contracts and receive recommendations for reducing energy expenditure. Alongside software, Linkener helps implement energy-saving projects and reported more than 400 solar and battery-storage installations across Spain. At announcement, it served over 2,000 customers and managed 10,000 supply points representing 1.7 terawatt-hours of annual consumption. Chief executive José Ignacio Ruiz said the investment would improve access to reliable consumption and cost data. Proceeds will support platform development and proprietary AI models intended to automate energy-information processing, detect anomalies and identify savings. The company also plans organic growth and acquisitions of complementary businesses, products and capabilities. Its stated acquisition strategy is intended to broaden the solution portfolio while strengthening commercial operations and technical capacity.
