Opply raised $7.5 million in financing led by Chalfen Ventures. Index Ventures, Anthemis, Entrepreneurs First, In This Together and Ventures Together also participated. Founded by Helen Murphy and Martin Postel, the company is building an agentic AI operating platform for consumer packaged goods businesses. The software addresses sourcing, procurement, financing and supply-chain management, combining AI agents with proprietary data, supplier relationships and flexible funding options. Unlike tools limited to analysis or supplier introductions, Opply says its agents carry out operational tasks directly. Functions include managing inventory, coordinating production, supervising deliveries and handling payments. The business targets supply chains that remain fragmented and labour-intensive, aiming to reduce manual work and improve efficiency for brands. Chief executive Murphy described a system that performs work rather than simply advising users what to do. New financing will support bringing the operating model to more customers, ranging from emerging brands to larger international businesses. The report did not disclose a valuation or identify a formal round stage.
