Sonexos secured CHF5 million in new equity through a pre-Series A led by Valquest Partners. Bosch Ventures, industry angels and private investors also participated. Valquest founder Fadi Noureddine joined the board. The Swiss deep-technology company develops solid-state active noise control using a software-controlled plasma layer that absorbs sound at a surface. Its patented Plasmacoustic Metalayer is thin, lightweight and has no moving parts. The technology targets difficult low-frequency noise produced by fans, compressors and motors, where conventional acoustic treatments can require substantial space or restrict airflow. Under application-specific prototype testing, Sonexos reported reductions of up to 20 decibels in ventilation systems and 16 decibels in domestic appliances. Financing will support the transition from engineered prototypes to qualified industrial products. The company is conducting paid integration programmes with appliance and HVAC manufacturers. Initial series production is targeted for early 2028, subject to integration, regulatory compliance and manufacturers’ product-introduction processes. That production timetable remains a forward-looking target.
