Zeit AI raised €5 million to expand its autonomous data-engineering platform for medium-sized European businesses. Investors included Y Combinator, the University of Oxford Seed Fund, Sequoia Capital Scout Fund, ACE Ventures and Hasso Plattner VC. Angels included Christian Lindner, Mario Götze, Charlie Songhurst, Martin Schoeller and Helsing technology chief Robert Fink. Founded in 2024 by former Palantir employees Leopold von Waldthausen and Marvin Bornstein, the company develops ZeitMind, an agent that connects business systems, cleans information and builds analytics-ready applications. Its target customers often rely on spreadsheets when ERP or financial-planning tools cannot meet specific reporting needs. ZeitMind connects ERP and customer-relationship-management systems alongside more than 600 other data sources. The platform is designed to retain transaction-level traceability and operates in German data centres. Financing will help reach more medium-sized businesses and recruit engineers supporting deployments. The company frames the product as a way to obtain data-engineering capabilities without adding equivalent internal headcount. No named round stage was provided in the report.
