Yash’s gangster film Toxic received an A certificate from India’s Central Board of Film Certification ahead of its scheduled August 26 release, The Indian Express reported. Citing information displayed on the board’s website, the newspaper said the running time was 194.12 minutes, approximately three hours and fourteen minutes. Certification was handled by the board’s Bengaluru regional office. Geetu Mohandas directed the production, jointly financed by KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The report described the film as Yash’s first release since KGF: Chapter 2 in 2022. Its published synopsis placed the story in post-independence Goa and followed a gangster confronting loyalty, morality and the possibility of redemption amid violence and jealousy. The newspaper also named Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth among the cast. The story concerned the certification decision and newly available plot details; the scheduled theatrical opening was still ahead when it was published. An A certificate restricts theatrical exhibition to adult audiences.
